The Project 20/20 Design Awards is a student competition that is part of the Professional Clothing Show and Awards. This years awards featured the support of INVISTA’s CORDURA® brand and subsequently the garments featured below are all constructed from professional, high performance fabrics provided by CORDURA®. 

 

Combining my love of nature with the inspiration of my brother, who volunteers for a number of wildlife trusts, the designs I have created are for outdoor clothing, for people who work in an environmental capacity such as in conservation.

 

After being shortlisted for the awards, I was required to make one outfit which consisted of the men’s trousers and unisex coat. Following further judging I was delighted to receive the CORDURA® Durable Design Award at the Professional Design Awards 2016 at Excel London. My outfit also featured on the catwalk at the Safety and Health Expo, London. This project was extremely rewarding and stretched my technical skills and knowledge of production techniques.
